Its been yet another long long time since I last blogged... and I'm surprised this page actually got 20k views. Yay me. But unfortuntely life is never kind and so as time goes by I've been getting more and more commitments and is making casual blogging a hard thing to keep up with...
That asides, I'm a second year student now! Finally my failure streak seems to have halted a little... I do hope it lasts.
Right, as usual, anime I watch this season (well, last season by now) is Sword Arts Online which I definitely recommend, Accel World, Campione!, Hagure Yuusha no Estetica, Jinrui wa something, Dog Days Dash, Eureka Seven AO and many more! Yes as you can see my internet is back! Though I'm still in the process of getting good quality internet which is enough for my use. I'm currently in Australia, living in Kingsford.
... god knows why I just "said" that but moving on, games. Ever since I left UK my console games are no longer in existance, so I've been busying myself with pc games. So far I'm hooked with War of the Immortals (WOI) by Perfect World Entertainment. Its a nice game... not very cute but nice to play. I'm also back to playing LoL but as expected the lag and my PC FPS lag is making me a horrible player... I even die in beginner bot games! But someday...
Finally as the title says:
You know most students go bout saying "I can't cook", "No time to cook", "No cooking equipment" and lots more. So here's something that even a loli can do... provided she has ADULT SUPERVISION. Don't want to injure a cute loli now would I?
What you need:
A rice cooker. A small one is fine. I use a normal mechanical one so I don't know if those fancy electronic rice cookers will work or not... but who knows? XD
Some salt.
Some pepper, black is best but anything would do really.
Those tomato pasta sauce which you can find at your local supermarkets easily
Some pasta, I recommend Fusilli since its my favourite, but again anything goes.
Some coriander (paste if you want)
Some garlic,
Some water.
Some oil, olive oil works best.
Optional stuff:
Onion Salt
Cheese (Grated)
Lots of love... just kidding :3
Basil (Paste also works... I use paste alot cause its clean and easy XD)
Instructions:
Clean your rice cooker. Don't wanna get food poisoning now. Make sure its dry and put in some oil. Just enough to cover the base is fine. Next put in some butter. The amount is as you like, try experimenting to see how much you like best. Close the lid and press down the cook button. It should stay in the cooking position automaticlly, but if it doesn't just hold it down for abit.... Keep it like that till the butter has melted completely. Next put in the garlic, some salt and if you have onion salt. Stir bit and turn back on the heat (by pressing the cook button) and sit around for about 20 seconds... hum a tune while youre waiting or if you're muslim like me dzikir a little. Next put in the pepper, coriander and if you have the basil. Again stir and heat up for about 40-50 seconds. Next pour in the pasta sauce, again up to you. More sauce means stronger taste. If you have cheese put 3/4 in now. Stir abit and turn on the heat for about 1 minute. We're 4 minutes in by now usully, and youre pasta sauce is complete. You can serve this with pasta normally if you want; you know, preboiled pasta on a plate waiting for its sauce; or if you're like me and alwys "busy" to bother having to pour/prepare sauce just to eat, you can put in the raw pasta into your sauce, sitr around abit, add some water until you just cover the pasta in water stir around abit more, close your rice cooker and press the cook button and leave it to do its job. This way you can just scoop out the asta like you do rice and eat it right away. Simple right?
The whole meal usually takes about 10-20 minutes to prepare and cook and you can just leave it in the rice cooker for up to two to three days(never tried three days but I'm pretty sure it'll last) so is a great way to help reduce spending money on takeaway or expensive ready made food.
Well, that's all for now, hope that made sense :3 Cheerio!
